The D3x is awesome. It is superb in every way. There are tons of reviews on the camera that provide all the technical details anyone could want. I want to focus on some aspects of the camera that are outstanding for someone like myself who has poor vision. 1) The LCD panels are truly backlit - not just a light shining from the side. This makes them easier to read. 2) I cannot read some of the small symbols and numbers on the top display panel, and I cannot see any of the symbols in the viewfinder at all. BUT, pressing the key button on the back of the camera displays the top LCD panel AND the viewfinder information line on the big back panel. 3) The back display panel is large enough that I can read the menues with ease. 4) The viewfinder image is big and easily seen with sunglasses on. 5) I do closeup work where many times manual focus is required. I can't even begin to focus sharply through the viewfinder. BUT, the D3x has a mode which allows the image to be shown on t
