How is Service Photo different from other photographic retailers, industrial suppliers, and mail order dealers?
Service Photo is dedicated to the sale of conventional photography equipment, darkroom equipment, digital photography equipment, and their related accessories. As a result, we do not have a 1-hour photo lab and we do not sell an extensive selection of photo albums and picture frames.
Service Photo is a truly unique camera, darkroom, and digital photography dealer. We offer our customers experienced and knowledgeable customer service, while maintaining extremely competitive prices. Our prices may be similar to mail order, but our customer service is second to none. We enjoy what we do, and it shows!
Who are Service Photo's typical customers?
Service Photo works primarily with professional photographers, government entities, educational institutions, students, and photography enthusiasts throughout Maryland. We are traditionally known as the local camera shop in Baltimore, Maryland. However, we have extended our reach to other photographers throughout the country who appreciate our approach to business.
With our dedicated emphasis on customer service we have earned a loyal following as a small mail-order photography dealer, however we are very different from the large, impersonal mail-order dealers in New York City.
Does Service Photo offer lab or printing Services?
At this time, Service Photo does not provide any lab developing, printing, or scanning services.
Does Service Photo repair camera items?
All Service Photo customer representatives have a good working knowledge of camera equipment, with extensive and specific knowledge of particular products. As a result, we can usually diagnose camera problems immediately, and may also be able to fix minor mechanical problems quickly, for very little cost. However, most camera repairs must be sent to the manufacturer, or to a manufacturer approved repair facility.
Service Photo can usually provide general estimates for camera repairs immediately, based on manufacturer guidelines, and more specific estimates can be attained in 2 weeks, for a $20 fee, that is deducted from any repair performed. Camera repairs generally take 3 weeks, but can vary. Service Photo works with most major camera manufacturers, and manufacturer authorized repair facilities.
What types of warranties come with products sold by Service Photo?
New products sold by Service Photo come with the manufacturer's limited USA Warranty. These warranties usually vary between 1 year and 6 years, depending on the product and manufacturer.
How can I buy products from Service Photo?
We accept orders via telephone, fax, email, and regular mail, as well as helping our in-store customers with their purchases. |
